New patients

Your first visit is your history and an exam, not a sales pitch

Before Dr. Clemmons looks at a single tooth, he wants to know your medical history and what actually brought you in. Expect questions, a real exam, and time to ask your own, before anyone talks about treatment or cost.

What to expect

What actually happens at your first visit

No mystery, in this order.

1

We get to know your history

Your medical history, current medications, and whatever's actually bothering you, before anyone picks up an instrument. This is what lets Dr. Clemmons treat the whole person, not just the tooth in front of him.

2

Dr. Clemmons examines and talks you through what he sees

A real exam, including an oral cancer screening and digital X-rays if you need them, with Dr. Clemmons explaining what he finds in plain language as he goes, not after the fact.

3

You leave with a clear plan, not a mystery bill

If treatment is needed, you hear what it is and what it costs before you agree to anything. Payment and insurance questions get answered before you're in a chair, not after.

What we're actually trying to do

Our mission, in plain terms

The practice has a formal mission statement. Here's what each part of it actually means for you in the chair.

We ask before we assume

Tell us what hurts, what worries you, or what you don't like about your smile. That's where a visit starts here, not with someone deciding for you.

We work to earn your trust, not assume it

Nobody is owed your trust just for having a license on the wall. Dr. Clemmons and the team earn it one honest visit at a time, which is how the practice has kept the same patients and the same staff for years.

We'd rather you leave happier than you expected

Getting the filling done isn't the bar. Getting it done with less discomfort and less confusion than you braced for is.

A team that isn't burned out on you

Whitney's been our hygienist since 2009 and Mackenzi's run the front office since 2012. A staff that sticks around and likes the work gives you steadier, more careful care than one that's turning over every year.

Dr. Clemmons keeps training

He takes continuing-education courses every year, on top of his original training. What you get is a dentist who hasn't stopped learning since dental school.

Practical info

Payment, paperwork, and hours

How can I pay for my visit?

We accept checks, cash, and credit cards. If a treatment plan is more than you want to pay at once, ask our Financial Coordinator about a flexible payment plan before you commit to anything.

Do you accept my insurance?

We file insurance for patients, and you're free to choose your own dentist regardless of which plan you carry. Bring your insurance information to your first visit so we can file it for you.

Do I need to fill out paperwork before I come in?

You don't have to, but it saves you time in the waiting room. Download and complete the new patient forms before your visit, then just bring them with you.
